How did you guys meet?

John was a host at a 2008 bridal expo, where we shared an instant connection.  After staring into each others eyes from across the room, John continued to entertain the crowd and introduced the next performer.  I then said to my girlfiriend he’s cute and educated, for some reason I feel he’s the one.” John soon came over for us to talk and exchange numbers, but before he walked away he said “you have nice legs Ameerah!” We talked everyday after that night and got engaged Mother’s day weekend 2010!

What was the highlight of your wedding day?

The highlight of my wedding day was when John looked at me during our 1st dance and he said “I could not have dreamed of a more perfect day even the weather’s pefect baby….80 in February!”

What advice would you give others couples in the planning process?

RELAX during planning…Take time to truly enjoy the journey together because so much is learned about your parter.  After all the wedding is only 1 day, but you are together for eternity.
